Today I thought I'd share with you lovely people a yummy, healthy smoothie recipe that you can throw together in a matter of minutes! It's brilliant any time of the day; at breakfast, as an afternoon snack or as a dessert! (Serves two - small glasses.)
You'll need TWO handfuls of frozen fruits (whichever you prefer, I went for summer/forest fruits) and drop them in the smoothie maker. |
Berries are very messy...you may need to wash your hands now! |
You need one ripened banana (if it's ripe it'll be sweeter). |
Chop up the banana (and, you know, arrange it in a pretty heart for a photo opportunity) and pop it in the smoothie maker. |
I added a small amount of honey (just a lil' drizzle), drop of lemon juice & some summer fruits juice. |
Mix/blend/puree that smoothie until smoooooth. |
Pour it out into two small glasses. |
Add some granola (or whatever you prefer) and drink up! Yummmmmmy.
